About the importance of educating your pets.

Though animal services may try their very best to rescue and find good homes for animals their efforts will not be enough if the general public continues to be uneducated regarding animal/pet care.

Because of this many animal services also focus on pet education to help prospective and present pet owners learn more about animal rights, licensing issues, pet safety, pet disaster preparedness, volunteer activities/work, etc.
